Jacob Rascon is an American TV journalist who works for NBC News and MSNBC as a national correspondent. He has covered a wide range of breaking news stories, including the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections, the Parkland school shooting, Hurricane Harvey, and the Boston Marathon bombing. Prior to joining NBC News, Rascon worked as a reporter for KPRC-TV in Houston, Texas. He has won multiple awards for his reporting, including an Emmy for his coverage of the 2015 Texas floods. Rascon is also known for his proficiency in Spanish, which has allowed him to report on stories from Latin America and Hispanic communities in the U.S.
